Radio studio designs, builds and refits

Westcountry Broadcast build studios and all other technical and non technical facilities including acoustics, custom furniture and computer networks for radio stations. We have recently completed the entire station complex for the new commercial radio station in Southend on Sea in Essex UK. This was a large project similar (but larger) in scale to our recent project to build Atlantic FM in Cornwall (and with an even more impressive building and view!) where we not only built the studios but all offices and other facilities in their iconic building. Both projects also naturally included providing all of the technical equipment and services.

We have also recently completed the construction of two studios and sound lobby for the relocation of Fire Radio in Bournemouth, a new talk studio and control room for Bournemouth Poole College/University, a new studio complex for Dream 107 in Essex, a studio for the student radio station at East Devon College, the acoustic work for Town 102 in Ipswich as well as the technical fit of new studios for Roch Valley Radio in Lancashire. The RITA keyboards for Autoplus

These bring all the during show features of Autoplus to a compact, easy to use keyboard that can sit easily in the mixer script tray meaning you can put the PC's keyboard and mouse out of the way. As well as individual play and stop buttons for all 5 cart players,

 you have Automate on/off, Mode change, Quick Record start and stop and Next buttons. PLUS- programmable buttons which can be assigned in Autoplus to other functions or command cuts. We also offer extension modules for RITA1 which can provide additional features like Quick Button remotes or network control functions based on Autoplus Command Cuts.   The newly launched RITA2 has yet more functionality including an integral mouse pad. Westcountry Broadcast presents the Netclock

This is a great new product for studios, galleries and suites which gives you an attractive and intuitive time display simply by connecting it to your Ethernet network. A power supply is available but as standard it works with PoE so if

you have a PoE network, just one data connection will be all it needs. Time is synched via SNTP from the internet or your local server and so you need never worry about Rugby signal problems again.
